Alan,
A very interesting idea.
Note that the CERN school seems oriented to the computing needs of
the LHC community. This tends to 'throughput' computing rather than to
'performance' computing. I'm not sure whether you intend to keep this
same emphasis. We'd probably need to have a broader range of emphases
in order to get critical mass of participants.
