Hi all,

The following link contains the talks from the International Symposium
on Grid Computing that I attended last week in Taipei, Taiwan.

The talks were much more varied than I thought would be the case, and
included an interesting variety of work all over the world. I was
especially intrigued by the talks on the Storage Resource Broker and on
simulation and modeling of network performance.

The format of the week's activities was an initial day of grid
tutorials (held largely in Chinese for the benefit of local regional
participants) on Monday, which I skipped upon the advice of the
organizers, followed by an LHC-oriented "service challenge" meeting
covering the LHC Computing Grid's plans to use Asia-based facilities
for LCG deployment. The main Symposium itself was held Wednesday
through Friday with a mix of plenary and 2-track parallel talks. (My
talk was Wednesday afternoon, if you are interested.)

All in all, the conference was very worthwhile and I'm glad I went.
Feel fee to browse through the talks and ask any questions -- if it's a
talk I attended, I'll be glad to comment.
