Thanks, Jae!  Further instructions on ganglia monitoring installation 
in general, starting from scratch, are also available at the link:

When we have our meeting tomorrow (9:30 am, ESNet H.323 8284743 or 
phone 1-510-883-7860 then enter 8284743 # ), we can discuss these and 
other initial communication and setup questions.  One advantage of 
starting with ganglia monitoring is that it helps us identify resources 
of interest to high energy physicists in Texas, whether or not they are 
immediately available for THEGrid use...
